It is still Autumn, right?
This week has been extremely warm. Summer warm. High 80’s warm. While I love the warmth and being outside in the sun rays, I absolutely love being bundled up with the crisp air piercing my face while sipping hot apple cider. Thankfully, I haven’t packed up our summer clothes yet (even though we are officially deep into Autumn. oops.) so Ezra still has some play clothes to wear. Due to the job changes from both of our husbands (YAY!), Rachel and I have set up new play date times for the morning hours a couple times a week.
This week we started with a picnic at the park to take advantage of the nice warm weather. I’ll admit that it was amazing being out in the sun without multiple layers of clothing, while still having the outside surroundings in complete Autumn force. We sat under a tree that showered us with leaves whenever the wind blew in our direction (that Jane would commence chewing on). The boys would throw leaves in the air over their heads and giggle while picking up more. Before leaving, we collected a multitude of colors with which to decorate our homes.
Summer heat and Autumn fun may not be the worst thing to happen.
